Prema is simply a great dentist and has more than 28 years of clinical dental experience. She qualified from Bangalore university, India in 1997.
After qualifying She worked in the department or Oral surgery. She was involved in Teaching Dental Students in the capacity of a Clinical Tutor at a university College Hospital in India. She owned couple of Dental practices before moving the UK.
In the UK she continued her interests in surgical dentistry.
She worked as a Senior house Officer in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Glasgow in Scotland. She worked in the busy Hospitals of Falkirk Royal infirmary, Sterling Royal infirmary and Airdrie hospitals between 2006-2008. During this period she has assisted in major oral surgeries like Oral cancer, Trauma and Orthognathic surgeries.
She has been working in Dental practices since 2009 and completed a Certification course in Dental Implants in 2010 from Glasgow. She pursued interest in the surgical field and completed her Masters of Science (Msc) in Implantology from the Manchester university between 2011-2013.
Since then, She has successfully carried out simple to complex Implantation procedures. A single missing tooth to full arch same day Teeth based on implants is her special interest.She has placed and restored thousands of Dental implants over the years. She has visited various Implantology conferences including the ones in Sweden and South Korea.
She has trained herself extensively in various subjects including administering IV sedation for the anxious patients and treated hundreds of apprehensive patients both in the hospitals and in the Dental practices. She has trained herself in facial rejuvenation and restored confidence in lots of people.
She further trained herself in Invisalign treatment helping people to achieve better smiles, oral hygiene and health. She has delivered beautiful smiles by aligning, brightening and contouring the Teeth. In several cases she has combined her skills of Implants, alignment and cosmetic Dentistry to achieve fantastic results.
She has received training in restorative dentistry including composite Bonding and hence providing aesthetic Dentistry to the needy patients. She works at Lincoln, Boston and Doncaster practice. She is at Carholme dental practice for more than 13 years.
Literature and Writing is another one of her passion. She has written hundreds of articles, several fictions and published many books. She writes in her mother tongue. She has also written about Dentistry for common public .
